Sean Graney's ALL OUR TRAGIC Wins Six Jeff Awards

  • October 2015: The Hypocrites' 12-hour production, All Our Tragic, won six "Jeff" awards at the Joseph Jefferson Awards, an awards ceremony honoring Chicago theater. In an interview, director Sean Graney said the epic production, adapting all extant Greek tragedies, owed much of its success to being staged in Chicago.

APGRD Toasts the Publication of The Oxford Handbook of Greek Drama in the Americas

  • May 2015: On May 18, the Archive of Performances of Greek and Roman Drama (APGRD) at Oxford University will celebrate the launch of The Oxford Handbook of Greek Drama in the Amerias, a project Kathryn Bosher first set in motion. Congratulations to the editorial team for seeing this spectacular collection through to publication. The volume is the first to discuss the performance of Greek drama across the continents and archipelagos of the Americas from the beginning of the nineteenth century to the present.

  • March 2015: Northwestern University's Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences ran this feature article on the Bosher Collection and the Classicizing Chicago Project, and featured newly launched website on its hompage.

The Bosher Collection Soft Launch

  • On Thursday, February 19, 2015, the Bosher Collection had a "soft launch" as part of the Classicizing Chicago planning meeting, where the NU research team gathered in Evanston, IL, with affiliates from University of Michigan, Virginia Tech, and the UK to discuss project development.
